Dear Chris and Jomesh
Its really encouraging to know and witness what you guys are investing for youngsters of Nepal. May God continuously be with you both and GYMN International and Nepal base team both to be able to work in the days to come as well. I really missed level 2 & 3 on this last opportunity due my ministry responsibility and some of other my scheduled trip to overseas. However, its awesome to be a part of GYMN. Hope and pray to work together for the youth of Nepal!

I was thinking that many times the pastor preaches to the people from an isolated position instead of from his own heart--his own sinfulness position, and then letting the Spirit speak through him and to him and to others. He speaks as a master instead of a servant in need of grace--possibly even more grace than those he is pastoring. He therefore feels alone.

I think that the answer is a return to the Gospel for himself---to remember that he too is nothing more than a sinner saved by and in need of God's grace every moment. He must recognize his frailty and confess he is powerless to help himself. Then he must go to the operating room, the Scriptures and prayer. Finally he comes to communion, with God and with others, encouraging and being encouraged, etc. This may be very humbling, but this also may be precisely where the pastor/leader must be and remain if he wishes to avoid the pitfall of isolation. It is in this humble state that he shepherds as an under-shepherd, not a master. Very difficult as our human nature rebels against this Biblical idea of leadership both as the leader and as the led.
